Night in Santiago de Chile

Welcome to your first day of a trip you won’t forget. Start the adventure in Santiago, the bustling capital of Chile, and spend two days before visiting Easter Island. Upon arrival, you’ll be driven to your accommodation for the night.
Santiago de Chile is known as a modern city that offers all kinds of attractions for curious travelers. Nestled between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, you can see the natural beauties surrounding Santiago from different viewpoints of the city.
Half-day city tour
Today, you will go on a guided tour to make the most of your time in Santiago. Santiago combines the urban and the classic, in both its architecture and atmosphere. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to experience one of the most developed cities in South America. Visit the Moneda Presidential Palace, designed by the Italian designer, Joaquin Toesca, and the Plaza de Armas, the city’s most famous square, surrounded by important and beautiful buildings such as the Cathedral and Central Post Office.
Stop by San Cristobal Hill, one of the largest urban parks in Santiago, and find the 72-foot-tall statue of the Virgin Mary. This tour shows you the different contrasts of the city, taking you on a trip through the Santiago of yesteryear to the modern metropolis it is today. At the end of the tour, we will take you back to your hotel.
Night in Santiago de Chile
Full-day visit to Valparaíso and the Casablanca Valley
Today, visit one of the valley´s wineries, participate in a shared guided tour of its facilities and vineyards, learn about the wine production of this region, and enjoy a wine tasting. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Valparaíso, making a stop in the Casablanca Valley. This is a wine region known for its white varieties, especially Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
Then, head to Valparaíso, a picturesque city hanging on the hills, and its historic center declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Visit Sotomayor Square and Pratt Pier, take a walk on Avenue Gervasoni and Atkinson, and the famous elevators spread over the city.
Finally, you will travel to Viña del Mar, the relaxing summer retreat for locals. Discover the famous clock made of flowers, and the beautiful coastline, before returning to Santiago.
First Night on the Island
Transfer from your hotel to the airport, and your hotel on Easter Island.
Today starts your visit to Easter Island one of the most stunning destinations in Chile. A transfer will take you to Santiago’s Airport to take a 6-hour flight to the Island. There, a transfer will take you to your hotel for the next few days.
Easter Island is a giant National Park with different archeological sites to visit. Rapa Nui’s (Easter Island native name) giant-head rocky statues (the “moais”) are famous all over the world. These are the traces of an ancient and interesting culture that continues to blossom today on the many rituals still practiced on the island.
Full-day visit to archeological sites and Anakena Beach
Your first visit to Easter Island will be to the archeological site of Vaihu. You’ll be driven from your hotel to the southern coast where In the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel to go to the southern coast of the island, the archaeological un-restored site of Vaihu.
Prepare to visit Akahanga, where the famous king Hotu Matua is supposedly buried. Then, reach Volcano Rano Raraku, the most important and greatest attraction of Easter Island. Many “moais” were carved here, and many remain unfinished in this place.
Then, head to the famous “moais” of Ahu Tongariki, there are 15 of them, aligned, still standing, and watching the island. End the day on a golden-sand beach, the Anakena Beach. Take a relaxing bath or a walk under the colossal palm trees before heading back to your hotel.
Easter Island
Visit Rano Kau volcano and Orongo’s petroglyphs
Today, a short tour will take you to discover other natural sites on Easter Island. First, visit the Rano Kau Volcano. Step over its centenary crater and enjoy a bird-eye view of Hanga Roa, the town. Then, discover the unique design of the houses and the jaw-dropping petroglyphs in the archeological site of Orongo. End the experience of visiting a cave and its paintings in Ana Kai Tangata. Finally, we’ll drive you back to your hotel.
Last Night on the Island
Rapa Nui culture and Puna Pau
On your last visit to Easter Island, you will be picked up early in the morning to reach Tahai, a ceremonial site with observable remains of the Rapana Nui culture. This 4-hour tour continues with a visit to Ahu Akivi (a platform with 7 restored moai) and the cave Ana Te Pahu. Finally, visit the quarry of Puna Pau where the Pukao (topknots of the moai) were carved. At the end of the experience, we will drive you to your hotel in Hanga Roa.
