Buenos Aires

Step beyond Buenos Aires and into the heart of Argentina’s gaucho culture with a full-day journey to San Antonio de Areco, one of the country’s most traditional towns. The experience begins near the San Antonio de Padua Church, where you will learn about the origins of the town before visiting the Draghi Museum. Here, discover the intricate art of Argentine silversmithing and the work of renowned artisan Mariano Draghi. Continue to the workshop of leather craftsman Alejandro Álvarez, where you will learn about his creative process and the traditional techniques he uses to work with horse leather.

Next, visit La Olla de Cobre, an acclaimed local producer of alfajores and chocolates, before heading into the countryside to Estancia El Milagro for a traditional Día de Campo. Discover the many faces of Montevideo on a full-day experience that combines the city’s most emblematic landmarks with Uruguay’s celebrated wine culture and gastronomy.

Begin with a panoramic exploration of the capital, visiting Independence Square and the monument dedicated to José Artigas. Continue through Batlle y Ordóñez Park, home to its distinctive ox-cart sculpture, and pass by Centenario Stadium, the historic venue of the first FIFA World Cup in 1930.

The tour continues at the impressive Legislative Palace, one of Montevideo’s architectural landmarks, followed by a short walk through the leafy Prado Park, one of the city’s oldest and most traditional green spaces.
