Continue south to Patagonia to experience the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier, surrounded by dramatic landscapes and pristine wilderness. Then travel north to the subtropical rainforest and discover the spectacular Iguazú Falls from both the Argentine and Brazilian sides, bringing together the remarkable contrasts that make South America such an extraordinary destination.

Transfer from Ezeiza airport to hotel

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and have the rest of the day to explore at your own pace.

Welcome to Buenos Aires, one of South America’s most dynamic capitals and a fascinating introduction to the continent’s culture. Often called the “Paris of South America” for its elegant architecture and European influences, the city has a distinctive identity shaped by tango, immigration, gastronomy, and the unmistakable warmth of its local culture.

Spend your first day wandering through lively neighborhoods, relaxing at sidewalk cafés, and discovering local markets and boutiques. Taste the aromas of Argentine beef sizzling on a traditional parrilla, browse artisan shops, or explore the colorful streets of Palermo Soho. Buenos Aires offers the perfect starting point for your South American journey, blending history, culture, flavors, and contemporary city life.

Buenos Aires

Half-Day City Tour

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in private service to discover Buenos Aires, one of South America’s most fascinating capitals and a city where European influences blend with a distinctly Latin American character.

Explore the historic and political heart of the city around Plaza de Mayo and the iconic Casa Rosada. Continue to San Telmo, Buenos Aires’ oldest residential neighborhood, known for its cobblestone streets and bohemian atmosphere, before reaching colorful La Boca and its famous Caminito, where tango and local culture fill the streets.

The tour continues to elegant Recoleta, where grand avenues and stately mansions recall the city’s golden age and explain why Buenos Aires became known as the “Paris of South America.”

At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel in private service.

Dinner & Tango Show

In the evening, you will be picked up from your hotel for an unforgettable introduction to one of Argentina’s greatest cultural contributions to the world: tango.

Born along the Río de la Plata and shaped by the diverse immigrant communities that arrived in Buenos Aires, tango is much more than a dance. Its music and stories capture passion, nostalgia, love, and the multicultural roots that have shaped this corner of South America.

While enjoying dinner, experience a professional performance featuring talented local dancers and musicians in an elegant setting. Through music, costumes, and traditional dance, the atmosphere of Buenos Aires’ historic tango halls comes back to life.

At the end of the evening, around midnight, you will be transferred back to your hotel after experiencing one of the most emblematic expressions of Argentine and South American culture.

El Calafate

Transfer from Hotel to Aeroparque Airport

At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to Buenos Aires domestic airport for your flight to El Calafate, continuing your journey south towards one of South America’s most spectacular regions.
